"McMars" family name...?

I now have a family anecdote to research. My Uncle says that our Mars family originated from a McMars family that was "ousted from Scotland by Prince Charles"

Not sure of the spelling of course. Could be McMarrs could be MacMars or MacMarrs

Prince Charles as I understand it, tried to take back England (he was a Stewart) and found support from Scotland in his journey to England. He was defeated and lived in exile in France.

Irrelevant, just trying to put a time stamp on this migration.

If anyone has any information or clues or leads I would very much appreciate the information.

I think many of you know how hard it is to trace Mars people around and I think spellings change very frequently.

Happy Holidays, all you great Mars people out there! -
