Check the Church of the Latter Day Saints stake center near you. Hopefully they have a family history room. If so, then check out the CD-ROM labeled Social Security. Then you must input the name that you are looking for. You do not need to know the SS#. You may also want to try the Ancestral File CD-ROM. There is also the Genealogical Index where you may also be able to find some info! Good luck, and I'll be in touch!
