I am interested in a David Morrow born about 1815. His obituary states he was born in Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan, Ireland but I have reason to believe that the family may originally have been from Scotland. His daughter Elizabeth states on a census in Iowa that her father was born in Scotland and a directory of 1833 states his name as David Marrow. I know that David was the youngest of 7 sons and one of his older brothers was named Alexander born about 1795. Both David and Alexander settled in Ontario, Canada in about 1822. If any of this information matches anything that you have I would really appreciate contacting you. I do not know anything about David's parents but suspect that their father's name may be William.
