Hi Marrow descendants ,
My ancestors were marrows too they are from granville
county nc. My marrows begin (so far) with diana marrow, I have not yet determined who her parents were, she is my gggrand I have reason to believe she was formerly a slave of william D. Marrow whom is listed just prior to her on the 1870 census she had sister mary and a brother austin. In 1866 she married Lewis(jim)Blackwell they had four children of which three were born during slavery. Sometime after 1870 the Marrow blackwell family moved to halifax nc. I am diligently researching on this family and any assistance I can offer I will be delighted to do so.I also hope someone among the Marrow descendants will share information with me .Ineed your help.

Sincerely,
joan
