Hello Ken,
I have a Certified Copy of an Entry of Birth (28.6.2000) Region District Aston, Sub-district of Bordesley.

It shows:
12 November 1909; 383 Bolton Road; Roger Marriott
Father: William John Marriott
Mother: Sarah Ann Marriott formerly Bracebridge
Occupation of father: House painter Journey man.
Registered December 20; 1909 by N. Davidson

the Marriott Family Tree (
William John Marriott (abt 1871) Leamington, Warwickshire
Spouse: Sarah Ann Bracebridge (I have pitures of them)
Children: Marinda (I have pictures of her)
John (unknown for me)
Leonard (unknown for me)
Annie (unknown for me)
Evaline (unknown for me)
Doris (my father wrote Christmas letters every year to her)
My father Roger and his brother Harry (picture shows him as 5th) are not mentioned in the list of children.
I think Marinda and Doris visited us in Belgium when I was 3 years old.
The family tree is owned by Robert Marriott Portsmouth, Hampshire. That's the relative I'am searching for, but I can not find any connection.
On the internet phonebook I find 6 adresses in Porthsmouth but not R. Marriott, perhaps I have to send them all a letter to find out if they know Robert.
Thank you for your reply Ken! If you ever visit Belgium I will guide you in Brussels, Antwerp, Gent, Bruges, Liége...
