Susannah Swann was not the mother of anyone. She died eight months after the marriage contract, which is dated in early 1660. William Marriot then married the widow of John Bishop, who was his wife at his death in 1672. William Marriott died with only two minor children, William Jr. and Mary, both of whom were children of the second wife. By 1682, William Jr. was dead and Mary had married Samuel Thompson.
Matthias Marriot first shows up in Surry as a landowner in 1665, already an adult. The dates simply don't work for Matthias to be a son of William. William Marriott and Matthias Marriot were roughly the same age as one another. More likely brothers than father and son.
