George and Mary Marriner had a ferry, about 1739, that went from Kittery, Maine to Falmouth, Mass. They had a son, George. George also married a Mary. Eventually, they moved to Ardena, Howell Twp., Monmouth Co., NJ and built a tavern that still stands today. Looking for Marriners from Ardena and Asbury Park, NJ.
