Just picked up on your message regarding the Rev. Mariner. He was mentioned by an earlier Rood family researcher, Robert Rood Buell, now deceased, as possibly the father to our ancestress, Mary Mariner. Robert Buell had also done some research on a French connection. Can you shed any light on either possible connection? There are several generations of Mariner Roods descending from Mary Mariner. Happy Holidays, Leila Mae Terry Georg
