I just found about that I am a decendant of John Marriner through his daughter Mary's marriage to Matthew Armstrong Jr. Mary and Matthew lived in Belmont, NC in Gaston County. (Gaston was a part of Lincoln County, NC in the late 1700's and early 1800's.) I have no other knowledge of them. If you know about the Marriner family in the Southern part of NC I would be so appreciative.
