Have you tried italiangen.org? They have indexes for a wide variety of vital records of all the Boroughs. I found a set of my Great Grandparents wedding record from 1895, the record number and dates are given. Did you try to comisson a search or purchase records through a vital record retrieval company? I use nyc.gov then go to the mental and hygene department you can order records up until 1932 or 42 online with the record number, they are far cheaper! If, you live in NYC you can save the extra $5 for shipping by choosing to pick it up in person.

Good luck, Danielle
