More about this family.

1880 census shows William O. Wood’s sister to be Hellen R. Wood, age 15. The Oregon, Washington, Iowa
1900 census shows his married sister as Rose H. (Wood) Marr, age 34 (with William Marr, her husband). It seems that she reversed her first and second name, as was frequently done in those days.

The 1910 Census shows William O. Wood’s sister as Helena R. and the child as Earl C. (reversed from the name order in the 1900 census). Also the other child’s name is reversed (to Lincoln R. from Roy L. in this census as well).

Hellen; Helen; Helena.
