Hi Phillip. We've corresponded before, so you know of my Marr relationship as well. Over the years, I've gathered a fair amount of information on family Marr. My family starts at Thomas Marr, born circa 1804 in Virginia, who married Sally Williams, born circa 1811 in South Carolina. They married in Barren County Kentucky on March 15, 1827 and he had passed away before 1860. Course I couldn't tell you how I know that. For their children I have:
Robert B. Marr, born Sept. 24, 1829, married Mary? No further details) NFD
Juliann Marr, born July 22, 1832, married David Cook and had one daughter by him. We find her living with sister Sarah and brother in law Schulyer.
Kitty Anne) Marr, born Feb. 23, 1834, married April 13, 1854 to James Martin Smith (Kids were: Nancy M; Sarah Ella; Thomas Jeffereson; Joseph; Mary E.; and Drilla.)
Twins: William W. Marr and Lucy S. Marr, born May 10, 1836. No info on William. But Lucy married Albenna S. Sanders on October 6, 1857 and she died on October 22, 1906. Albenna Sanders was born February 1830 in Hart County Kentucky. He died, August 7, 1916 at Horse Cave Kentucky.
James Marr, born September 15, 1838, married Dec. 26, 1860 to Luanne or Louann Kemble/Kimble.
Elizabeth C. Marr, born Feb. 15, 1841
Sarah Thomas Marr - my line. Born July 7, 1844; married July 31, 1867; died Jan. 4, 1908. She married Schuyler Pace. They lived in Smithsgrove, Kentucky and are supposedly buried there. The cemetery is nicely kept but the headstones, or river stones, have either sunk away or are too weathered to read. It is a lovely serene spot to rest. Sarah may have been married before Schuyler to a Wilburn Mitchell on Aug. 26, 1861 in Edmonson County, Ky.
George Ann Marr. Born December 31, 1845, and married Sept. 18, 1861 to George W. Carroll (county clerk). George Carroll, in his role as the Clerk, married Schuyler and Sarah.

When Schuyler and Sarah married in July, 1867, there were no male Marr(s) available to provide her bond, so Schuyler's father, David Foster Pace did it. Were they all away, were they in the army, or did they not agree to the match maybe? David and George Carrol attest that Sarah is known to them, she is over 16 and wants the marriage.

I would really like to hear whatever you have and I know I have some more stuff at home. You can email direct to:
