William Marks/Marquis Pa. line

Does anyone have information on William Marks Sr. who came to western Pa. 1788. He had sons Isaac Marks b 1782 and William Marks Jr. b 1778. Isaac m Sarah Ritchie and William Jr. m Alice Hanson. William Jr. was in the Pa. Leg. 1810-19 and Senate 1825-31 and is said to have been in the US Senate. Wm. Sr. came to an area called Remington. It was in Allegheny Co. Pa. on the Stubenville, Pike. Wm. Sr. Marks father is said to be John Marks who came as a child from Jamestown Va. to Chester co. Pa. John's wife is given as Clarissa Breviwell. Isaac son of William Sr. had a daughter Mary E. Marks who married William S. Boyd. They moved to Butler County pa. William S. Boyd was in business for a time with Samuel Marquis. There is a Samuel Marquis in Butler Co. Pa. by 1803.
