Looking for information on ancestors and other descendants of Francisco Marquez and his wife, Aleja Gomez, of Zacatecas, Mexico (c. 1830s-c. 1900). Their son, Petronilo Marquez (1859-1943) was a landowner and distiller in Jerez, Zacatecas until the Revolution, during which time he and his wife (Higinia Valdez, 1879-1963) and 5 children emigrated to the U.S. They lived in Los Angeles for the rest of their lives. Their son Fernando (1904-1999) was my grandfather.
