Mary Jane, I tried to email you but it didn't go through. The Middleton in Franklin Co, AL is the same Middleton I have been talking about. He and his brother John A. moved from Marshall Co, AL to Franklin Co, Al. I think they then went back to Marshall Co, AL before moving to Texas.

Middleton married at least twice. His first wife had inherited quite a bit from her parents who died fairly young. I only have a first name for his second wife. I have information on his children. I do not know of any other Middleton M. Maroneys in that area. The older Middleton who died young had a sister who married Ransom Davis and they named one of their sons Middleton Maroney Davis. So the Middleton name is a strong name in the family.

Please email me if you need any further information.
Sharron
