Thank you. I knew about the elder of the first 2 and had found John A in the Civil War records. I still haven't found the 3rd Middleton M from what I have just today found was in Franklin County.

This is still a mystery to me. If you find any other source or know of anyone doing research on this family please let me know.

Then there is the message that someone had a grandMOTHER named Middleton Maroney.

This is about as unbelievable as the 6 generations of Thomas Lamars in my mother's Roberts family and we still haven't found the link of the Lamars and the Roberts.

I will keep searching and will let you know if I ever solve the mystery of too many MMMs.
