Sorry, but I think that Amanda Maroney, daughter of Benjamin Maroney and Elizabeth Grisham, will be a dead-end for you. She was indeed the oldest child of Benjamin and Elizabeth, but she married John W. Humphries in Campbell County, GA, in 1837 and all of her children had the last name of Humphries. Good luck in your search.
