I wanted to add that on the 1870 Federal Census there is a listing from Coxes, Cobb, Ga. for a George S. Miller who was 13. His parents were William Miller,38, who is shown to be born in South Carolina and Mary C. Miller,29. It looks like their children include Charlie (6), Cornelia (8), Edward F. (10), George S. (13), Mary A. (12), Sarah L. (2), and William (4). On this same census index are found Dave Miller (65), Jane Miller (50), Phel Miller (15) and Polk Miller (19). The census shows Dave, Jane, Phel and Polk as "colored". I do not know if this 1870 census is the same people as the ones named on the 1880 or not but would love to know if anyone else knows them to be the same. Thanks again,

Karen Freeman Brook
