on 12-24-1876 in Douglas County, GA. This info was found in Douglas County Book A56, page 181. Miles Edwards MG officiated. They are shown on the 1880 Federal Census as Amanda Miller, 19 born about 1861 in Georgia. Jesse Miller ,2, born about 1878 in Georgia and Sanders Miller, 21, born about 1859 in Georgia. On the actual original hand written census, it definitely looks like "Sanford" to me instead of the transcribed "Sanders" on the index.
According to my family records they also had a daughter Bessie Miller who married Charlie Hester. Ida Miller who married and moved to Little Rock, Ark. Her daughter "went missing" at some point. I don't know the name of the man Ida married or the name of the daughter who disappeared. There is also another boy by the name of Doc or Dock who is Jesse, Bessie and Ida's sibling.
I am looking for information about both the Miller and the Maroney lines. Both of these families are found in the old Campbell, Cobb, Douglas areas. There are both Maroney and Miller lines that extend farther back but I am missing the links to connect them after Amanda Melviney Maroney Miller and Sanford Miller.
Any information that anyone has to offer would be greatly appreciated.
