Hello Larry. In reading the rest of your posts I have come to the realization that you are a cousin of my childrens Father, who,s Father was William Dewey Maroney, his Father was Robert Henry Maroney, who was born abt 1871 in Carroll Co. Georgia.

In the 1920 census of Denton Co. Texas, he states that his Father and Mother were born in Georgia, in the 1880 census of Carroll Co. Georgia I found James L. Maroney with his wife Hannah, in this census James states that he was born in
Georgia, abt 1833 he is 47 years old,his Father was born in Georgia and his Mother born in South Carolina. In the 1850 census of Campbell Co. Georgia I found Benjarmin Maroney with his wife Elizabeth with their children James and Loyd,
James is 18 years old, Benjarmin states that he was born in
Georgia and that his wife was born in South Carolina.

I also have the Civil War pension record of Loyd L. Maroney,
in which statements are given by G.R.Joiner and J.B. Humpries, J.B. Humpries states that his Mother was the sister of James L. and Loyd L. Maroney. I feel that this information is correct and that Phillip Maroney is not the Father of any of these Maroneys. If you would like to contact me please feel free to do so.
