RHODA MARONEY was born about 1815 in Shelby Co, AL to Isaac Maroney and Rhoda Aydelott Maroney. Around 1830 she moved with her mother and step father, MOSES CROWSON, to MS and TN. I find her on the 1850 Fayette Co, TN census, most likely a widow. She may have married Edward/Edmond Moore. She is listed as Rhoda Moore, 35, born AL; children were listed as Joshua B., 15, b. MS; Rachael, 13, b. MS; Ann, 12, b. TN; Jane, 10, b. TN; James, 8, b. TN; Isaac, 6, b. TN; and her mother Rhoda Crowson, 80, b. MD.
I would like to exchange information with any one working on this family. I have Rhoda and children on the 1860 Census of Fayette Co, TN also. I don't have them after this time, although I may have Joshua B. in 1880.
I do have more information on the MARONEY line.
