Iam looking for info on a family of Maronas that lived with my gggrandfather William Gordon. All of them including my ancestor lived in Virginia. This is the names and ages of them according to the 1860 census for Braxton County, WV. Margret 80, Catherine 23, Rebecca 4, and Cyntha 4/12. My gggrandfathers age is given as 45 in this census. He has a large family listed also. It appears that his wifes name was Mary and her age was 29. Iam wondering if there is a tie to the Maronas that lived with them. Can anyone tell me where the Maronas originated form. Any info would be appreciated.
