WILLIAM H. MARNEY (Aug.29,1978 AE82, won William Charles his son Glen Royce Marney, his Daughter Donna Marie Noble (nee Marney)Information Page 159 of the "Temperance VALE, The People and Times of a New Brunswick Settlement compiled and written By the People of Temperance Vale:
William H. Marney (1863-1916) married Henrietta Feero (1866-1947) on Dec. 28, 1883 in Houlton, Maine.William worked for Pinder, mostly in the mill.He bought the property that he lived on from George F. Pinder in 1909.After his death in 1916, and their house burned.Henrietta lived first with her daughter Ida Parker and then with her daughter Laura Graham until her death.William H. and Henrietta were buried in the Baptist Cemetery.They had six children.
William C. (1887-1968) served in the First World War.He married Ethel V. Mitchell (1893-1962) in England and returned to Canada with her in December, 1916, to settle in The Vale. William Charles Marney Reg. Noo. 44124, 14 Batt. R.M.R./Private 55 Battn. C.E.F.He worked in the woods and liked hunting and fishing.They had two children:
Aulden is a carpenter in Nackawic.He married Geraldine Stairs and they have four children:
Jean,Linda,Rowena,Barbara.
Glen Royce Marney (b.1922) living 2000 married Evelyn Kathleen Mooers (MacFarlane) 1923-1972
and had five children:
Roy Carl Marney (Feb. 21st, 1945 - living 2000
Donna Marie (born Jan. 4, 1948 - living 2000
Wanda Leigh (born November 30 1957) living 2000
Heather Dawn Marney (born March 31st, 1970.
Joan Marie (dec. 3 days) Born Feb. 19-21,1947 at Temperance Vale United Baptist
Cemetery.
Glen R. Marney worked for Corey's while he lived in The Vale, then moved to Waasis, N.B. the worked until retirement at C.F.Base Gagetown as a civilian.Glen lives at Waasis, New Brunswick, Canada.
Married again after mom's death (2) Evelyn Dougherty, from Nova Scotia.They have NO
CHILDREN.
Guy (1893-1979) married Myrtle McGuire (1915-1969) .He moved to McAdam where he was employed by Canadian Pacific Railway until he retired in 1958.Guy and Myrtle had three children:
Evelyn (1917-1970)
Helen Mary (b 1919)
Mabel M. (b.1922)
Arthur, drowned near is home in Mill Pond at age six.
Fraser A. (1896-1956) married Martha Parker (1902-1978).He was a First World War veteran, and after the war he worked as a cabinetmaker for Daniel Bros. in Wianno, a firm now owned by Fraser's son, Osborne.Fraser and Martha had six children:

Kenneth (1937-1973) was unmarried.
Laura (b. 1898) married Fred Graham (1887-1963)
