Hello Marlers, I'm Tracy, & new to the world of computers & family research. I am TRYING to research my gramma's(vella lockley spurlock)mothers people. My g.gramma was Effie Magdalene MARLER lockley "maggie". Married to joseph lockley, their children being,Gracie louise, vella mae, wilburn, virgil(died age 17 c.c. camp drown)& evelyn. gramma "maggie" died in childbirth. I would like to find out the names of her parents,& back. Tentitavely, i have her mother as Lucinda/lucindy,& her step-mother as Mary, native american probably cherokee.
I have a Marler family picture dating between,1907-1910(judging from the age my g.aunt appears to be& the fact that my gramma does not appear in the pic so am assuming she had not yet been born) On the back of pic my gramma titled, "my mothers brother& sisters& their familys" are listed the names of those in the pic they are as follows(keeping in mind these are the names they were called by);(effie)m."maggie"MARLER lockley her husband joe daughter(Gracie)Louise.Frank, lula, "maggie's" step-mother(clearly native american)no name but i believe this may be mary,Maggie's father no name,A child(maybe about a year old) hobert,Pearl,Tessie,Tom,Sarah,Irvin,&Alvin(very young maybe under a yr.old.
If any of these people are kin to you or you have any info on them or the names of "maggie's" parents etc. or we are related in anyway(Ilove to "connect" w/family) please contact me directly at, firstname.lastname@example.org I love to swap info so if i have any thing that helps.... hope to hear from someone son bye for now TRACY
