Decendants of Russian Markins...Any one?

My family, before me, came over from Russia...Anyone Have Part of a Russian Heritage? Markin means 'son of Mark' as I was told. I believe that somewhere in my family there was a cosack dancer(don't think I spelled that right-but that's ok). Drop a line...
