Unfortunately, I don't really know if your Charles Markham is the same as my grandfather's brother. I really know very little about him. My great grandfather's (Charles' father and C.A.'s father) name was John Thompson (Long John) Markham. Long John Markham's father was Carter Markham, born in Arkansas about 1824, the son of Thomas Markham, born in Bedford County, Virginia in the 1780's. I think Thomas' father was Arthur Markham. I am working on finding out more.
