p. 21 of The Maris Family in the United States. A Record of the Descendants of George and Alice Maris. 1683-1885.
shows "TACY, m. 1793, ----Harrison."

She is shown listed as the 7th child of Richard Maris and Ann Swaffer. Unfortunately for you this book does not contain anything more on Tacy Harrison, nor any of her descendants. It will however, provide the ancestry back to George and Alice who emigrated in 1683 from Worcester, England to Chester County, Pennsylvania. It has a wealth of information on George Maris, including a copy of a patent from Wm. Penn. It also indicates that Tacy Harrison's grandfather was a "minister in the Society of Friends." An Appendix Note provides info on your influential ancester Jonathan Hayes. There is other info of interest on your ancestors.

A copy of the book can be obtained from Higginson Book Company, 148 Washington Street, P. O. Box 778, Salem, MA 01970; phone 978/745-7170 http://www.higginsonbooks.com/

Hope this helps.
