Looking for descendents of Minos/Manois Marine
My wife is a descendent of the Dorchester Co., MD Marine family (Milleson/Jonathan/William/Zorababel/William/Zorababel IV/Thomas J. etc) and we have a painting of one of the sons of Thomas J. Marine and Elizabeth Craft, (the family identifies him as Manois, although his death certificate from 1907 identifies him as Minos R. Marine) at age 21 in 1893. At his death he left a widow, Ida E. Marine born 1882 of German parentage, and sons Richard A. 6 and Robert L. 4, who lived on Market St. in Philadelphia in 1910. By 1920, the two boys were living with different families in Lancaster Co. (Strasburg) and Ida is nowhere to be found (died? remarried?) Robert apparently married Naomi from New Jersey in 1929, (they were in Lancaster in 1930) but his whereabouts after that are unknown. She may be the Naomi Marine (b.1-27-03) who died in Camden, New Jersey in November 1975. Whereabouts of Richard unknown, although he may be the Richard (b. 9-21-03) who died in PA in December 1964 (got his SSN in Ohio). We would like to get this painting into the hands of someone from this family if we can find them.
