Joseph Marin, Canada & St. Louis, 1719-1774
Posted by: Richard Richards (ID *****9615) Date: September 29, 2006 at 10:57:32

Joseph Marin, the famous Canadian partisan commander during the French and Indian War, was born in 1719 and died in 1774 in Madagascar. The well-known genealogist Robert Parkin has written that a Joseph Marin, b. 1719, d. 1774, was buried in the Old Catholic Cemetery in St. Louis (now Missouri). Does anyone have any information on whether these are the same person?
