George Margerson of Merseyside, England

I’m seeking information about George Margerson who married my great aunt Mary May Haskins 1902 somewhere in the Wirral registration district of Cheshire, England. Mary was born 1884 in Hoylake, Cheshire d/o Arthur Haskins and Mary Heley. George & Mary had 7 children (all births registered in Wirral). Hilda & May (twins) 1903 (both died within 3 months), Robert George 1904, Lucy May 1907, Kathleen G. 1913, Walter E. 1922 and Doreen 1926.
George may be the dock labourer who is named as “Geoge Margarison” on the 1901 census in Liverpool (the closest match I can find). In which case he was born 1882 in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. This may also match a “George Magerison” on the 1891 census living in Derbyshire. If that is true then he is the son of George (b. 1845 Bolsover) & Mary Ann (nee Jenkins? b. 1845 Measham, Derbyshire).
If anyone can confirm or otherwise any of the above please contact me.
