I am researching the family of Katerina Marek, b. October 5, 1820, in Bohemia, d. December 8, 1898 in Twin Mounds?, Kansas.
She was married to Matej Hrabe of Bohemia (b. February 24, 1818, Bohemia, d. April 8, 1896, Oklohoma City?, Oklohoma?. Matej - Mathias - or Matthew)
They had one known child, Joseph Hrabe (b. July 7, 1848, in House #7, Mezoun, Bohemia, d. May 25, 1925, possibly in Twin Mounds, Kansas). He was married January 4, 1871 to Anna Smidl (b. 1851, location unknown, d. 1910 possibly in Twin Mounds, Kansas).
Katerina Marek's father was named Frantisek Marek and her mother was Anna Svobodova. Nothing is known about them.
