Glenys, I think I can help. I also have a MARDEN line that might interest you. Charlotte Sarah Marden b 19/9/1851 Withyham, Sussex. Daughter of William Marden Heasman b 1817 Hartfield, and Charity Parker b 1824 Withyam. William and Charity had another son (shown on 1871 census as John M.H. Parker. Parker was Charity's maiden name and she was living unmarried with William Marden until 1863 (when they finally married). I would be faily sure John's middle names were Marden Heasman in common with his other siblings at teh time.
William's father was William Marden b ca. 1783/4 (died 1848 in Withyam, I have a transcript of his will). I hope that helps you with the link to Fanny Elizabeth. Let me know what you find. Regards. ray
