John Marden from Crowborough 1861-1938

Hi to anyone out there that may help me. I am just getting started on my family tree. My grandmother was Fanny Elizabeth Marden born 1884 in Crowborough - daughter of John Marden from Crowborough- known as "Honest John" according to a newspaper cutting I have from 1938. I know that Johns father was William Marden and I have Charity as a name associated with him. My grandmother emigrated to NZ as an 18year old- she played piano on the ship to pay her passage. She arrived in NZ (Fielding) xmas day and married my grandfather Edwin Frank Hills, who had emigrated a year earlier (also from crowborough I think).I would love any contact from Mardens or Hills from this area. I believe she also had brothers Harold Edwin Marden, George W Marden, Fred Marden and a sister Alice.
