Dear Wende
I am researching all the descendants of John Swett of Newbury, Mass. (1590-1652) and would like to know if Orison Swett Marden was related to the Swett family. Perhaps his middle name, Swett, was in honor of the maiden name of his mother or one of his grandmothers? Any help concerning the origin of his middle name will be appreciated.
