I'm looking to find out what I can about him, my great-grandfather. I have found a John F. Marden (b. September 22, 1861) who married an Ida Mae Thoms in 1883... was the wedding in Brooks, ME? Was John born in Winterport? Was Ida Mae from Minnesota (b. in Indiana?)? When/where was she born? Who were there parents?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. John and Ida (I presume) had a daughter - Ellen Louise Marden, born September 11, 1892 in Winterport - my father's mother... I'm only 28.
