Since the Canadian/US border was rather "non-existent" back then, the family moved freely back and forth. I know they were farming and part of their land was in US and part in Canada. The only info I have on your Clifford is he was married to Seretha. I remember my grandmother, Alice Bertha Marcy Gardner talking about he and his wife. I know somewhere in all of my old photos I have a picture of them. I believe that Clifford and Seretha had a sheep ranch in WA, in the vicinity of what is now Brewster. Unfortunately, I don't have any info on their children.

Clifford's father was Guy Hamilton Marcy b.26 Nov. 1861 Lawrence, KS - mother Paulina Wilder b. 7 Jan 1861 Springfield, IL. Guy's father was Edgar Hamilton Marcy b. 1830 Bradford, PA - Mother Nancy Shave b. 6 Sept. 1838/39 Avoca, NY. Edgar was the 2nd mayor of Bellingham, WA. He is my gggrandfather. Clifford and my paternal grandmother were siblings.

Janet--[Janet is granddaughter of #2 21 14 above (Alice Bertha Marcy Gardner)
