I have a letter written by a Mary Norton Marcy in West Meriden, Connecticut. It's dated 8 April 1864 and she writes about leaving "Georgie" in Baltimore, and that he was on the way to the front at that his regiment was in Virginia. Can anyone help on this one? Anyone familiar with a Mary Norton Marcy? I'm wondering if "Georgie" is George Marcy of the 8th Ct. Infantry.
