Mary Marcus was born 21 January 1915 at Marfa, Presidio County, Texas. She died on 16 May 1992. Her parents were Ben Marcus and Josephine Malena, and her husband was John Clement Benson.
Mary and John Clement Benson had the following children:
Juanita, born 28 May 1931, Enid, Oklahoma
Frances Mae
Allen James
Eva Marie
Ludell Lea
Charlene
Nancy Louise
Rita
Lewis
Wesley
Georgie
They lived mainly in Texas after the birth of Juanita.
I am seeking information on Ben Marcus and his wife Josephine. I cannot locate them on the census for 1920 and 1930. And I cannot find them on any board crossing documents. They may have originated from Mexico. It may be that they returned to Mexico after Mary’s birth and that Mary returned alone to Texas around 1930.
