Hi Brenda,

I was able to visit the Eastview Cemetery (in Union City TN) noted in that obituary and here is the info from Jess W. Marcus's stone:
Jess W. Marcus Mar. 29 1888- Mar 15 1954
Jessie Marcus Sept. 26 1901- Sept. 2 1989.
Beside them is Clelon Josephine Marcus July 4 1921- Jan. 23 1943. I also have grave information from nearby Alamo Cemetery for Velma Marcus (1904-1988), Zelma Marcus (1904-1919), Kinchion Simmons (1897-1951 same rock), Susane Marcus, J.C. Marcus, Mary A. Marcus, and C.C. Marcus. I don't know if any of these people are helpful to you.
I am looking for a Martha Marcus (died 1927 or 1917 Feb. 4) who married a Thomas K. Eaves (Oct. 20 1848- July 22 1894). They would have lived in Obion or Weakley County, TN and their daughter was Amelia Octavia (Tavie) Eaves Dec. 10 1886 - Oct. 20 1970. Let me know if you come up with any connections or leads! There obviously is a connection because the obituary for Jess W. Marcus was in the Bible of Amelia Octavia Eaves.....I just don't know how it all fits together.
Thanks again,
Jodie
