Hello. Yes, it sure sounds like the same family. So your ggrandfather was my ggggrandmothers brother. I don't know very much yer as I only found out who Isabel was in Sept. while I was down in Texas county. I found Isabel Marcus born July 16, 1819 in my grandmothers Bible but nobody living knew who she was. I've been talking with J.J. Halter who is my third cousin once removed. She is going to send me what she has on the Marcus's in a couple of weeks. I'll be happy to share. I tried checking the 1850 and 1860 census but they were both out on inter-library loan so I have them reserved when they come in. Please e-mail me and we'll talk more. lgllpend@peoplepc.com
