There is a new book out, Pioneer Profiles, Vol. I, which details the Marcotte families who lived in Kankakee and Iroquois Counties, taking them back to Nicolas Marcotte the father of Charles Emile Marcotte who was born 1598 in St-Leger, Fecamp, Normandie, France. Your Agnes Hebert and and Edward Marcotte [he was born 27 April 1873 in Plessisville, Comte Megantic, Province Quebec, Canada, and died 24 January 1952 in Kankakee, Illinois]are in the book along with their children and grandchildren. There are about 140 pages of Marcotte history and genealogy in the book. Contact me for details.
