I suspect Tabithia may have been in Jasper Co. Ga. before Hancock? My notes show a William Riley Marchman (Mashburn?) was her son, possibly. It seems William Riley Marchman is listed in Meriwether Co. Ga. innW corner near Yellow Jacket Creek area. I am trying to find my Grandmothers parents possibly in same area. GM Martha Jane Mashburn, Tinney said on her pension application after Civil War, that her father was William R. Mashburn d. 1850 Grantville, Ga. Does any of this sound familiar to you. The William Riley Marchman came from Maryland to
Ga. Love to hear from you. Mary Elizabeth Hill
