well ours is more of a wall hanging. About 3' by 4' and is a scene of a French home with 3 muscians one harpsicord, one vilon, one cello. Faded, but still ok. signed in the RIGHT corner lower by Marchetti. I asked a tapestry maker about the name. He said there was one tapestry he knew of done by a Marchetti, with roosters and farm animals an such. Quite a merry scene he said. I found him on the internet. He was very nice to get back to me. Marchetti's first name is harder to make out. Can u read yours? Outside of that he said that one like yours is still quite nice to keep. The larger ones can have some value, although the Marchetti name wasn't one he knew to be of great fame. Your post was quite old and i never figured to hear from anyone. lol. I want to pitch it, but u never know so i thought i'd try and find out if it had any value. Guess not much. Thanks for getting back to me. Merry Christmas

Lance Mason
