Hi,
Frank MARCHANT was baptised at Alfriston on 6 July 1873. His parents were Henry MARCHANT and Keturah BREACH who were married at Alfriston on 18 May 1853. Henry was the second son of Charles MARCHANT (born circa 1801/2 in Hythe, Kent)source 1851 census)) and Jane (born circa 1807/8 Chalvington) source 1851 census)). I have baptism dates for 9 children born to Charles and Jane. According to the Sussex Marriage Index, Charles married Jane BURNS at Alfriston on 29 April 1826.

Henry was baptised at Alfriston on 28 Sept 1828.
Keturah BREACH was the daughter of Henry BREACH (Shepherd).

I am also researching MARCHANT'S in Alfriston, but I have not connected this family to mine.
