Hey Steve: Yes this is a line in which I have an interest. However the Marches that follow in this reply are not my immediate family , maybe you have the connection I'm looking for. The following Marches are from O.P. and later lady cove. 1. Knight/March: Unknown March b. 1710 Dorset Had Stephen b.1734 Dorset (owned land in O.P.), also had William b1735, Dorset (owned land in O.P. 2.Stephen March m Ann b. 1755 in 1775.Stephen died on Jan 9 1812. 3.Children of Stephen and Ann, Ann b. 1775 in O.P.;Stephenb.1780 ; John b. 1782 Torquay Eng. 4. Ann march b. 1755 m. Stephen Knight 1793. Stephen is listed as a master mariner and part owner of the Brigantine SWIFT. Stephens O>P> propertys were willed to the Marches. 5. Stephen seems to have moved to St John'sand a daughter Ann was born in 1799 Also a Kezia Knight b, 19 June 1836 O.P.m. Azariah March , O.P.b 1855. Also Michael Knight M. Jemina March the eldest Daughter of Stephen March on Oct 22 1855. My March family is from Green's Harbour and we have all the records from Edgar March b. Nov 3 1818, the son of a John Sr. about whom we know nothing.Whether our John traces back to Stephen March b. 1734 and therefor connected to the O.P./Dorset Marches is our current area of research. P.S. I have had DNA test results that could be compared to any of the Dorset Marches if any testing has been or will be done.
