Bev. We seem to be researching the same family at about the same period. My family came from Dorset to the colonies in the mid to late 1700s and settled in Old Perlican NFLD.
Including Stephen b. 1734,William b.1735, John 1757, and the eldest March first name unknown b. 1710 who was the father of the above noted William and Stephen.
A family whose father was a Stephen b. unknown and who is connected to our line, came to NFLD but returned to England a died there. His Children were Stephen b. 1810, Joseph b. 1814 William b. 1819. Most of this family seems to have been in the boating/commerce industry. My data from 1780 onward is fairly complete.
