Hello Virgil,

I'm not sure if you meant to contact me or John Marble? I have no connection to the Marble surname that I know of, I do a lot of posting of articles to help others that may be searching.

What makes you think or how do you know that Henry died about 1870? I did find him for 1870 in Fremont County, Iowa, age 32, butcher, born in Mass., if that is him. Perhaps his name is misspelled for census records after 1870? I looked at the 1880 and 1900 did not find him under proper spelling.

Have you posted any inquiries to the 'Marble' list of rootsweb?
