Elmer Liberty MARBLE (1909-1991), use to live in CT, last residence unknown

I'm looking for anyone who may have information on my grandfather, ELMER LIBERTY MARBLE. He was born on December 15, 1909 and died on July 17, 1991.

He was married to MARGUERIT(E) “BETTY” JOSEPHINE DUMONT (she was born in France on April 2nd, 1921, lived in Belgium before moving to Connecticut, U.S. during the breakout of WWII, where she died on October 28th, 1975). I don't know the year or date they were married, but I do believe they were married in Connecticut (USA), and did live in WEST HAVEN, CT for a few years.

Together they had one son (my father) named JEAN-PIERRE ANTOINE JOSEPH MARBLE in January of 1960, in New Haven, CT (he later changed his last name to DUMONT). A few years after he (Jean-Pierre) was born, ELMER left his wife and son. I do not know whether or not they divorced, or where Elmer moved to.

I don't know if he was born here (USA) or another country. My father believes that Elmer may have been Scottish, but we aren't positive. I do know his social security number was issued from Montana, but other than that, he is a mystery to me as well as to my father.

Please contact me if you have any information on him or any ideas on how I can go about searching for information. It would be greatly appreciated!
