I noticed your item on Genforum about a Marble book. I am trying to find info about a gggggrandfather Thomas Marble and his wife Ruth Kempton. There is an application paper at the DAR, # 562988 of a Mrs. Howe, that mentions a Marble Bible that belonged to Thomas Marble. It's last whereabouts was somewhere in Florida but the gentleman who had been tracing it has since passed away. He had traced it to a Priscilla Marvel.
Do you perchance know of this book?
What I am trying to find is proof that John Marble b. about 1763 was the son of John and Abial Darling Marble. This John was the son of Thomas Marble b. 1709 married to Ruth Kempton.
I am also looking for proof that differentiates Thomas Marble b. 1709 from his son, Thomas Marble b.1732, as it relates to their Revolutionary War service. The father's file has been closed by the DAR as there is no proof of differentiation.
I will pay any postage and photocopy charges.
