I don't recall any of these names coming up in my research so far. I will be looking for them from now on. My Uncles Clarence and Warner (Tuskegee) know a lot of stuff. I'll ask them if any of these names ring a bell. You should try the Ala. GenWeb page for Russell Co. and see what you can find there. One name that pops up a lot in my research is Champ Marable. He was in Ala. and was a slave holder. That could be a lead for you. I'll get back to you if I find anything related to your ancestors. I know how frustating it can be when you hit a wall.
